Todd Farha
Founder & President
Channelside Capital is led by Todd Farha, who founded the Tampa-based firm in 2008. Channelside Capital is an independent private equity sponsor focused on middle-market and founder-led companies. Prior to Channelside Capital, Todd served as CEO of WellCare Health Plans, Inc., leading its private-equity acquisition and initial public offering. Todd has been involved in the founding, funding and development of a number of businesses, working with management teams to create value for all stakeholders and sometimes serving on portfolio company boards.
Investing in the Community
Todd’s charitable involvement centers on youth, disadvantaged and community services such as AMI Kids, which helps at-risk youth through drop-out prevention and alternatives to incarceration, Trinity Café, which feeds the homeless and the hungry with dignity, Victory In The Valley, which provides cancer patient support, and the Greater Wichita YMCA, where Todd serves on its board of directors and the foundation executive committee. Todd also serves on the board and executive committee of the Due Process Institute, which focuses on criminal justice reform.
In addition, Todd and his wife Erin support the Tampa Museum of Art, where Todd served as a Trustee, and the Tampa Bay History Center.
Todd received his bachelor’s degree in economics magna cum laude from Trinity University and an MBA with distinction from Harvard Business School.
